Today has been a very special and wonderful day. It is my last day of work before two weeks of vacation which is always a good thing. When I get back I have two more days of work, and then I’m retired.
I have an amazing team and they put together a virtual retirement party today and it was a lot of fun and I was just blown away by the kind words that were shared by many about working with me, etc.
I honestly can say I’m not gonna miss the work but I will miss the people. Over the last 27 1/2 years. I’ve built a lot of relationships with a lot of people across the country. I am very thankful for the many experiences. I’ve been able to head over that career.
It’s somewhat of a surreal experience thinking about 27+ years at a job in he won’t be going back to it. The great thing is I’m starting a new adventure and that adventure starts August 1, 2023 when I moved to Thailand. Stay tuned for more on that…
