Ramblings of a Confused Guy

This week has been very interesting so far. The most enjoyable time started on Sunday night when I had a lovely dinner with my cousin who I haven’t seen for a while. We chatted for two hours and it was just a lovely dinner on top of Great conversation.

Today I had lunch with a coworker friend, who had retired a few years ago and her husband. We had a lovely lunch and got caught up. Having people in your life is so important and it’s important to stay in touch.

Some other things that are happening this week is the finalization of my packing. It’s important that my four suitcases are within the weight limit as well as my carry-on, because the airline I’m travelling on weigh your carry-on as well. There’s very little to do now except some cleaning up. I will do some basic cleaning starting tomorrow and then I have a cleaning lady coming on Saturday to do a good cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom.

It’s an interesting feeling when your entire life is packed into five plastic totes that are being stored in your friends attic, and four suitcases that are coming with me. of course, as I posted on Facebook earlier, I’m cleaning out my fridge and making things and using up the meat and everything. I hate waste. Couple of my neighbours are taking my plants and my youngest daughter picked up all of her stuff last week. As she took a lot of my kitchen things

I wanted to post something today cause I haven’t posted for a little bit but I just kind of feel like rambling so you are seeing the results. My last few days in Canada are going to be relaxing in the air-conditioning as we are having a bit of a heat wave here and it’s so humid out.my Internet and TV will be cancelled on Friday so I’ll be limited to my cell phone until that gets cancelled when they port my number to my new virtual system.
